【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletocopolymersand/orblendsbasedonpolylactide,inbulkorprocessedforms,usedforthemanufactureofsurgicalimplants.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesmethodsforthedeterminationofchemicalandmechanicalchangesinthepropertiesofthesecopolymersand/orblendsunderinvitrodegradationtestingconditions.ThetestmethodsspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardareintendedtodeterminethedegradationrateandthechangesinmaterialpropertiesofpolylactide-basedcopolymersand/orblendswithvariouscomonomers(forexampleglycolid,trimethylenecarbonate,ε-caprolactone)invitro.Theseinvitromethodscannotbeusedtopredictdefinitelythebehaviourofthesematerialsunderinvivoconditions.ThepurposeofthisInternationalStandardistocompareand/orevaluatematerialsorprocessingconditions.
