【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthequalityrequirementsofflatlaminatedglassconsistingoftwoormorelitesofglassbondedwithaninterlayermaterialforuseinbuildingglazing.1.2Dependingonthenumber,thicknessandtreatmentoflites,andthenumberandthicknessofinterlayers,theglassshallbelaminatedforapplicationsincludingbutnotlimitedtosafetysecurity,detention,hurricane/cyclic-windresistant,blastresistant,bulletresistantandsoundreductionglazingapplications.Laminatedglassusedinfurnitureapplicationsisnotincludedinthisspecification.1.3Opticaldistortionandtheevaluationthereofarenotcurrentlywithinthescopeofthestandard.Mockupsarerecommendedasamethodtoevaluateglass.(SeeAppendixX1.)1.4Thedimensionalvalues,exceptthicknessdesignations,statedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
