【摘要】:ThistestmethodprovidesasimplermeansformeasuringthenitrogencontentofnitrocellulosethanthenitrometerdescribedinTestMethodsD301.Undercontrolledconditions,theproceduredescribediscapableofresultsequivalenttothoseobtainedbythenitrometer.1.1TestMethodsD301formeasuringnitrogencontentinnitrocellulosebynitrometeraretheacceptedstandard.However,theglasswareisspecializedandtheprecisionisdependentonthedevelopmentofahighlevelofskillbytheoperator.Theferrous-sulfatetitrationofnitrateisaclassicalprocedure.Bycontrollingcriticalvariablesandautomatingtheactualtitration,precisionequivalenttothenitrometercanbeachievedwithnitrocellulose.Thistestmethoddescribessuchaprocedure.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection8.
